After Ringing Bells’ Freedom 251, another newcomer ChampOne has introduced a smartphone that is priced under Rs 1000 named ChampOne C1. Sale Strategy will be same as Ringing Bells i.e, Flash Sale. Registrations for the first flash scheduled for September 2 has started.
The website looks like a scam, and the registration button is inactive. The company has put out a disclaimer citing “payment gateway” difficulties, and says that registrations won’t work for the next 24 hours. However, it says that the smartphone will be sold through the ‘Cash On Delivery Option’ so we don’t see why they even need a payment gateway. And the main thing which is making a fuss, is the fees for registration for Flash Sale.

In the past also, there have been many mischief cases regarding companies who made fake promises to deliver specification which were not possible. Docoss X1 is one of the companies who did this, was a jaipur-based company, promised to launch a Smartphone worth Rs. 888.
We advise all readers to stay away from deals that seem too good to be true from brand new companies without a service history or a reputation to lose.
