Nokia 6: What to Expect?

Nokia, a well-known brand for almost every Indian. It is a brand which brings back memories of snakes: the game or 4 days of battery back-up.

After the failure of their Windows devices, Nokia decided to return to the mainstream mobile market with the Android platform. In 2017, Nokia has finally made his comeback with its first Android phone, Nokia 6. But unfortunately, the device is available in China only.

According to HMD Global, Pre-registrations had reached over 1 million in China ahead of that on sale date, and the Nokia 6 sold out in just one minute.

Well, more Nokia Android phones are on their way that will be sold in other regions – these should be announced at MWC 2017 at the end of February.

Coming to the Design:

The phone features an aluminium uni-body design. It comes with a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 2.5D gorilla glass protection. The overall design of the phone looks quite nice. An Ultra-fast Fingerprint sensor is present on the front. It also comes with the dual speakers with Dolby Atmos sound system.


  • The smartphone runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It comes wth Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 505 GPU for seamless performance.
  • The device boasts a 64GB internal storage which can be expandable upto 128GB using a micro-sd card, paired with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM.
  • With 16-megapixel f / 2.0 large aperture camera, phase detection autofocus, built-in scene recognition, and dual-tone LED flash to restore the true color and natural color. For amateur self-timer enthusiasts, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera can be easily integrated into your vision.
  • It has a 3000mAh non-removable battery for supporting a full day optimal usage. The latest Android ™ Doze technology gives you a more battery-savvy battery management experience.


The price of the device is 1699 Yuan which approximately equals 16,700INR ( Let’s assume 22,000 INR after taxes). Well, the device will not be going to launch in any other country but much more android devices from Nokia are coming soon.

Since it is not available in India, let’s see how many devices from Nokia gonna come this year, and will be available for our country.
