Xiaomi recently shared a teaser image regarding the Mi Note 2 with its Twitter audience with the title ‘Curved to impress’. Xiaomi on Friday confirmed it will be launching the Mi Note 2 flagship smartphone at a Beijing event on Tuesday, kicking off at 11:30am IST. The event will be streamed live over Facebook.

According to a leaked slide spotted by Phone Arena, the Mi Note 2 will feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution and Force Touch.
It is said to be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 SoC, while the dual rear camera sensor is said to bear a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor. On the front is said to be an 8-megapixel sensor.
The display will also showcase force touch or a 3D touch interface much like the iPhone 6s and 7 according to the image. It will also feature 4100 mah battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support over the USB Type-C port.
Other features of the phone include a Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, iris scanner, NFC and Mi Pay. The 4GB RAM 64GB ROM version is expected to be priced at $415 (approx Rs 27,700) and the 6GB RAM 128GB version is expected to be available at $445 (approx Rs 29,700).
